RETURN & SHIPPING POLICIES

SHIPPING POLICY

All Luna Succulents & Notions products have a 1-3 business day processing time. Processing time is not shipping transit time.

Most items will be shipped out within 48 Hours.

Succulent orders may require 3-5 days processing time depending on if they may need to dry out to prevent damage in shipment.

You will receive tracking information once your items have shipped.

SHIPPING IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S.

We currently use USPS as our shipping carrier.

We offer Priority Mail (1-3 business days) & Priority Mail Express (1-2 days including weekends and Holidays) for shipping options.

Succulent Shipping

The majority of succulents will be shipped bare root.  

The succulents are removed from their nursery pots, stripped of their soil, and set aside to dry if necessary.

Each succulent is then wrapped in tissue paper to protect them during transit. The tissue paper serves two purposes; a) to protect the plants from one another and b) to wick away any residual moisture from the root system.

We ask that you please read and understand our Return Policies. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns before purchasing.

 

*Succulent Return Policy:

We cannot accept returns for succulents because the succulents cannot survive 2 way shipping. Returns are done on a case to case basis dependent on the reasoning for return. Please contact us with any issues with your order so we can help out.
Example of Reason for succulents return reason that may be covered:

  • No roots

  • Root rot

  • Broken stems

  • Pest infestation (mealy bug, aphids, scale, etc)

  • Incorrect or missing plant or product

  • ​

We are not responsible for:

  • Damaged items or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

  • Dried or wilted bottom leaves (naturally occurring in all plants; can be easily pulled off without damaging the plant)

  • Dried or wilted flowers / blooms (naturally occurring in all plants; can be easily pulled off without damaging the plant)

  • Potting soil on leaves (easily washed off with first watering)

  • A couple of broken, missing, or wilted leaves, as long as 75% or more healthy leaves remain intact

  • Minor color / shape differences from photograph in product listings (many succulents change color / shape continuously)

  • Items damaged due to cold weather and a heat pack / shipping warmer is not purchased

  • Minor fungas gnats infestation

  • Package not received claims when proof of delivery is provided by the postal carrier

  • Packages that arrive late because of shipping delay with the carrier

  • Packages that are forwarded to a different address than the designated shipping address

  • Any issues with the plants after 2 days of delivery


We cannot control what happens to your order during transit. Make sure to retrieve the packages as soon as they are delivered. Don't let the packages sit under direct sunlight for more than an hour. Please track your package and open it immediately upon arrival.  Fragile plants may break or lose a few of their leaves during transport. If you receive your package and are not satisfied, or if your plants are severely damaged, please message us with photos within 2 days of the package being delivered. We'll try our best to accommodate you.

LS&N is not responsible for damage done to plants by extreme weather. Temperatures can be unpredictable. If your plants are being shipped to a cold climate, it is the responsibility of customers residing in areas subject to freezing weather to purchase one of our low cost Heat Packs and add it to your order. Heat pack purchase can be chosen when you add the succulent to your cart. While heat packs do not guarantee protection from frost, they will help prevent damage from occurring. Make sure to retrieve the packages as soon as they are delivered.  *Should you want to avoid a cold snap, you can also request a later shipping date.

*Notions Return Policy: (All other Non-Succulent LS&N products)
Items can be returned within 14 days from the date your items are delivered. Items must be in *original condition and received within 14 days of date of delivery to receive a refund. DISCOUNTED/ SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.
When returning, please securely pack and seal returned items with the invoice included in an appropriate shipping box or envelope as we are not liable for packages we do not ship ourselves. LS&N does not provide shipping labels for returns. The original invoice must be included in your return packages.
*Original condition: Items that have NOT been worn, altered or washed with all original tags attached.
Please note, returns may take 5-7  business days to process from the date we received the return..
