Fenestraria rhopalophylla, commonly known as Baby Toes, is a charming and unique succulent that captures the imagination with its captivating appearance. This low-growing plant features thick, finger-like leaves that are translucent at the tips, allowing sunlight to penetrate and photosynthesis to occur even when the leaves are partially buried in the soil. The leaves are usually light green in color and have a slightly flattened top surface that resembles tiny toes, giving the plant its adorable nickname.

  • Soil: Succulents need grittier soil than other plants because they are adapted to dry conditions and store water in their leaves. Use a cactus / succulent soil mix and container with drainage holes.

Watering: Wait until the soil has dried out completely before watering your plant, and then give it a good watering, ensuring the excess water drains out from the pot.

Heat Packs for Winter Months: If you experience continuous cold weather temperatures under 38 degrees, we encourage you to add a 72-Hour heat pack to your order to ensure the safest arrival of your plants during cold weather conditions.
