Succulents

OPENING: Once succulents arrive, *open them immediately*. The succulents have been in the dark for a couple days during shipment. It’s important to get them some light to prevent damage. Carefully handle the wrapped plants to avoid broken leaves, pokes, and unnecessary plant bruising. Gently remove the packing materials and unwrap your succulents.

POTTING: Pot in a container with a drainage hole and use a well-draining gritty soil (Cactus soil is a good start). Water them thoroughly. Don't put the plants in sunlight immediately as they could burn. They need to get acclimated to sunlight gradually. Keep them in the shade or indirect sunlight and slowly introduce them to direct sunlight.

WATERING:

Your succulents watering needs will depend on the soil you use and your own growing environment. Since most succulents are prone to rot a standard good rule of thumb is to water only when the soil is completely dry to avoid overwatering. You can easly stick a chop stick in the soil ( like testing a cake) and if it comes out dry its ready to water. Water thoroughly. Once you get to know your succulents you will see wrinkling in the leaves/softening up when its ready for watering. In addition the pot itself will be lighter. If you’re nervous about overwatering get a cheap moisture reader.

Succulent Arrangements

ARRANGEMENT OPENING: As soon as your arrangement arrives, make sure to open it promptly. The succulents have been in the dark during shipping for a couple of days, and it's crucial to expose them to light to prevent damage. Carefully cut the two ties that secure the wreath during shipment, taking care not to harm the arrangement or damage any leaves. Once the ties are removed, the arrangement is ready to be hung!

PLACEMENT: For your succulent arrangement to thrive, it requires bright light but should also be protected from intense sunlight and frost. The fresh cuttings on the arrangement can wither or get burned if exposed to too much direct sunlight or excessive heat before they have rooted. Therefore, be mindful of where you place your arrangement. Ideally, choose a location that receives morning sun and afternoon shade or bright filtered light.

WATERING: Allow two weeks to pass before misting the moss where the succulents are attached. Take care not to spray the Pampas and reed grass that accent the arrangement. The cuttings usually begin rooting within 3-6 weeks for most succulents. After a month, generously spray or soak the moss on the front and back where the succulents are secured. Avoid wetting the accent pampas and reed grass. Continue watering every week or two, ensuring the arrangement dries out before rehanging to prevent moisture damage to the hanging surface.

REMOVAL AND REATTACHMENT: Once the succulent cuttings have fully grown out (approximately 4-5 months), you can remove or cut them off from the arrangement. If you enjoy do-it-yourself projects, you can reattach the succulents to your arrangement. Alternatively, you can place them in pots to allow them to continue growing and enjoy them for years in a planter or garden. Each large succulent is attached using a greening pin and waterproof glue. The filler succulents are glued as well. If you encounter difficulty when removing the succulents, spraying rubbing alcohol near the stem of the succulent where the glue is attached will deactivate the waterproof glue, making it easier to pull them off the frame.

1 to 2 hours. Skipping this step may reduce your candles overall burn time.

-Avoid drafty areas.

-Always trim your wick to 1/4″ each time before lighting it.

-Always burn your candle in sight & away from anything that can catch fire.

-Always burn on a suitable surface and protect the surface under your candle.

-Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
